We are back from the summer break on Thursday 3rd September at 7.30pm. Kicking us off is our very own Jackie showing us how to mould structures from crispy treats & chocolate!

Rice crispy treats mixed with chocolate & marshmallows provide a lightweight, entirely edible structural alternative for creating 3D toppers, carved shapes & sculptures. We can’t wait to see what she makes!

😃 Our local branch meets the 1st Thursday of the month for fun, hands‑on sessions & demonstrations covering all aspects of cake decorating.

With talented guest demonstrators sharing their skills, tips, and creative ideas, you’ll always pick up something new.

We are holding a Summer Event on Tuesday 25th August 7-9pm to raise money for our chosen charity Sage House. We are going to have a fun evening eating, chatting and trying our hand at Line Dancing! 😁Tickets are just £5 - all proceeds going to charity. Everyone is welcome (not just open to members of the Guild).

We had the lovely Christina from Tasteful Cakes Academy - By Christina Georgiou come to demonstrate here fab skills to make a cute modelled baby earlier on this month. She showed us step by step how to create all the parts giving us lots of hints & tips along the way. Last month we welcomed Becky from Cake Design By Becky. She demonstrated how to pipe a lambeth style cake. She showed us what nozzles to use for the chunky style buttercream design from shells to frills and finished the design with shell decoration.

Some lucky person won this in the raffle!! Thank you Becky it inspired us to have a go.

Our next meeting is Thurs 4th June where we will be welcoming Christina from Tasteful Cakes Academy - By Christina Georgiou to show us how to model a cute sugar baby. We will be trying to re-create this in our hands on session in July.

Doors open 7.30pm @ Jubilee Hall in Middleton. Everyone welcome - £7 entry for non-members. See you there!!
