🎬 We will be making short Makaton videos with actual Pudsey Bear for the BBC.

Great work Ben - We will do our letters soon too!

Ben has been busy adding his voice to our campaign, writing to the Prime Minister and his own MP about the Down Syndrome Act guidance — and the continuing wait for it to be published.

It matters to see people with Down syndrome making their own views known. Their ability to engage with issues that affect their lives can so easily be underestimated. Participation will look different for everyone, and not everyone will be able to write a letter themselves, but every person with Down syndrome should have a meaningful way to be included and have their voice heard.

Martha's Rule, which triggers an urgent review when a patient’s condition is deteriorating and family members feel they are not being listened to, is being extended to all hospital A&E departments and waiting rooms.
