🎉 Celebration time at Lanivet WI!

It's a dual birthday extravaganza! 3 years for us, and 111 years for the WI.

Everyone is welcome.
We'd love you to pop in and join us for the evening, and make it a special one.
Lanivet Methodist Hall, 21st October from 7pm until 9pm.

Over the last 3 years Lanivet WI has gone from strength to strength. Friendships have been forged, lots of inspiring and creative moments shared, as well as adventures.

We've had some brilliant speakers. If you've been one and would like to return to say hello, we would love to see you.
Or if you were a member of the WI in the past you'd be welcome to share your memories too.

The evening promises fun and games, sharing happy memories, and of course a CAKE.
Hope to see you there.

Details of the WI are always in the Lanivet Newsletter.

Our next Lanivet WI meeting is next Wednesday, 16th September. 7 - 9. At the Methodist rooms.

It's an Open Meeting so you're all invited. There is a small charge for non members. We would love to see you!

There's a lot going on for us to enjoy.
We'll be reminded of the lovely things we did in August, and friends to catch up with.

🪻 It's a bit of a celebration evening as we will be marking the 111th anniversary of the WI. How amazing is that, and to be part of it at Lanivet WI.
There will be a celebration cake!

🍂 Our speaker is Lorna, who will be giving the evening a Harvest feel with a floral art demonstration. Lorna is a passionate about flower arrangement, and is very good at it.
We'll be learning a lot I think, and inspired I'm sure!

🌺 The poppies for the Church, via Val, will be collected this month and next.
Please make some if you can.

Last, but by no means least we will have a Giving table this month.
Please bring an item for the table if you can, and some money to buy something. There's always a bargain to be had.
And we're raising funds for our WI.

🍓 Lanivet WI Charity Cream Tea is on Sunday 9th August from 2.30 - 5pm, at Willowbrook, Lamorick.

Save the date!

Our summertime Cream Tea is sure to be a fun afternoon. Tasty scones, homemade jam, clotted cream, and good company!
There will be a bring and buy stall filled with goodies, guess the weight of the cake (the cake is the prize) and a raffle.

Money raised will be shared between Lanivet WI, and Chloe Scott (Team GB)

Chloe is a very talented local girl, and a highly skilled archer. She shoots compound bows at the highest level, representing Great Britain on the international stage.
We're happy to offer her our support.

Please come along to enjoy a fun afternoon! We'd love to see you!
