4 Star Fieldcraft at summer camp was a very professionally run course. Many of the cadets were the most senior cadets at Cornwall and Dorset Army Cadets, with some looking forward to taking part in Master Cadet and Champion Cadet Courses, the pinnacle of a cadet's career!

Good Luck, GCSE Class of 2026! 🎓

Today is a big day for everyone receiving their GCSE results, and we just wanted to wish each and every one of you the very best of luck! 🤞

Whatever those results look like, remember that they are one moment in a much bigger journey. Be proud of how far you’ve come, celebrate your achievements, and don’t be too hard on yourself if things haven’t gone exactly as planned.

There are so many exciting things ahead — college, sixth form, apprenticeships, careers, new friendships, new experiences and plenty of opportunities to discover what you’re capable of. 🚀

Your results don’t define you. Your attitude, determination and what you do next matter far more.

So take a deep breath, open those results and be proud of yourself. You’ve got this! 💪

Good luck everyone, and here’s to the next chapter! 🎓✨

This evening was the end of an era for two of our senior cadets who commemorated it with a pajama party at their detachment.

CSjt Knight and RSM Alleway are both an inspiration to their detachment, company, and the county who never wavered in demonstrating the values and standards of our organisation.

Congratulations and good luck with all your future adventures.

First Aid training is an important and possible life saving part of being an Army Cadet. Every year there are many positive stories of Cadets saving people’s lives or helping injured family members or the public in times of need.

While progressing through the Army Cadet Syllabus, the cadet learns more skills until they can walk away with a First Aid at Work qualification at 4 star, which is a massive boost to any CV!

These cadets are learning essential skills at 1 star level, and although not necessarily advanced, are the foundations to aid a casualty in an emergency.
