📢 CYHOEDDIAD: Eisteddfod yr Urdd 2026 i’w chynnal ar G*e Sioe Môn!
Heddiw, cyhoeddodd Urdd Gobaith Cymru mai Cae Sioe Môn ger Gwalchmai, Ynys Môn fydd lleoliad Eisteddfod yr Urdd 2026. Bydd yr ŵyl yn cael ei chynnal yno rhwng 25 a 31 Mai 2026.
Dywedodd Manon Wyn Williams, Cadeirydd Pwyllgor Gwaith Eisteddfod yr Urdd 2026:
“Mae ugain mlynedd ers y cynhaliwyd Eisteddfod yr Urdd ar Ynys Môn ddiwethaf, felly rydym yn edrych ymlaen yn eiddgar at ei chroesawu eto yn 2026.
Y cam nesaf yw sefydlu’r pwyllgorau apêl ymhob cymuned ledled yr Ynys a fydd yn gyfrifol am drefnu gweithgareddau i godi ymwybyddiaeth yn ogystal ag a***n. Byddai’n wych gweld cynifer â phosibl yn ymuno â’r pwyllgorau hyn a hoffem weld holl blant a phobl ifanc yr Ynys yn cael y cyfle i fod yn rhan o’r trefniadau er mwyn sicrhau y bydd hi’n Eisteddfod i’w chofio – mae croeso i bawb.”
Mae Eisteddfod yr Urdd hefyd yn galw am enwebiadau ar gyfer Llywyddion y Dydd a Llywyddion Anrhydeddus Eisteddfod yr Urdd Ynys Môn 2026. Bydd y Llywyddion y Dydd yn ffigyrau adnabyddus lleol, sy’n cynrychioli’r ynys ac yn esiampl i blant a phobl ifanc heddiw. Bydd y Llywyddion Anrhydeddus yn unigolion sydd wedi rhoi oes o gyfraniad i’r Urdd, trwy wirfoddoli, cefnogi neu hyfforddi.
Mae gwybodaeth bellach am sut i gofrestru i wirfoddoli ynghyd â ffurflenni enwebu Llywyddion y Dydd a Llywyddion Anrhydeddus ar gael ar wefan Eisteddfod yr Urdd.

📢 ANNOUNCEMENT: Anglesey Agricultural Showground’s site to host Eisteddfod yr Urdd 2026!
Today, Urdd Gobaith Cymru, has confirmed that Eisteddfod yr Urdd 2026 will be held on Anglesey Agricultural Showground near Gwalchmai. The festival will be held on the site between 25 and 31 May 2026.
Manon Wyn Williams, Chairman of the Urdd Eisteddfod 2026 Executive Committee said: "It is twenty years since Eisteddfod yr Urdd was last held on Anglesey, so we are eagerly looking forward to welcoming it again in 2026.
The next step is to establish the appeal committees in every community throughout the Island, which will be responsible for organizing activities to raise awareness as well as money. It would be great to see as many as possible join these committees, we would also like to see all the children and young people of the Island have the opportunity to be part of the arrangements to ensure that it will be an Eisteddfod to remember – everyone is welcome.”
Eisteddfod yr Urdd is also calling for nominations for Presidents of the Day and Honorary Presidents of Eisteddfod yr Urdd Ynys Môn 2026. The Presidents of the Day will be well-known local figures, who represent the island and are an example to children and young people today. The Honorary Presidents will be individuals who have given a lifetime of contribution to the Urdd, through volunteering, support or training.
