The Environment Agency is here to help. We monitor rainfall, river and sea levels 24 hours a day,
issue flood warnings, maintain flood defences and work closely with local partners to support
communities before, during and after flooding.

🌱 A Quick Update & Thank You to Our Allotment Holders 🌱

We would like to say a huge thank you to all the plot holders who have put so much time, care, and hard work into keeping their allotments tidy, productive, and well-managed this season. Your efforts make a wonderful contribution to our green spaces, and the results speak for themselves!

Addressing Unkempt Plots

We are also aware that a number of plots have fallen into a state of disrepair or become overgrown and untidy. Please be assured that the Parish Council is actively monitoring the site and dealing with these issues directly in line with our tenancy agreements.

A Gentle Reminder for All Tenants

Because our allotments border public areas, footpaths, and neighboring homes, they are on full display to the wider community. We kindly remind all plot holders of their responsibility to keep their space neat and presentable so it remains a pleasant view for passersby and neighbors alike.

If you are currently struggling to maintain your plot due to illness or other circumstances, please contact the Parish Clerk as soon as possible so we can discuss your situation.

Thank you for your ongoing cooperation.
