The team at Cotswold Friends do incredible work tackling loneliness and helping people stay connected and independent in the parish. However, they still need your support!
Cotswold Friends are asking for any groups or individuals, who could support older people in our community, by fundraising for Cotswold Friends.

Here are a few inspirational ideas…

• Organise a Community Fundraising event such as a bake sale, an afternoon tea, raffle or sweepstake.
• Challenge yourself to embark on something out of your comfort zone – sponsored walks, swimming, cycling, trekking, running, knitting, dancing, sleep-outs, skydives or even wing-walking…!
• Celebrate a birthday or anniversary milestone with friends and family by coming together to fundraise to help provide vital services for the older people who need us most.

Here is a JustGiving link https://www.justgiving.com/charity/cotswold-friends for online fundraising, or alternatively please ask for a fundraising kit.

Welcome to Carers Week 2026 from 8 to 14 June 🌟 This Carers Week, let’s celebrate the incredible difference unpaid carers make every single day. From partners and parents to neighbours and friends, carers quietly support the people they love with kindness, patience and strength.

This year’s theme, “Building Carer Friendly Communities,” is about creating places where carers feel recognised, valued and supported. That is exactly what we aim to offer at Campden Home Nursing from our base Jecca’s House in Chipping Campden.

Caring can sometimes feel lonely. Having somewhere welcoming to go, a chance to talk with others who understand, or simply taking time for a cup of tea and conversation can make a real difference.

Come to our
• Caring Lunch: 12:30 pm to 2 pm on the fourth Wednesday of every month
• Caring Afternoon Tea: 2 pm to 4 pm on the first Wednesday of every month
• Drop in for Tea and Chat: 10 am to 3 pm Monday to Friday
• Dementia Friendly Café: 2 pm to 4 pm on the third Thursday of every month, supporting people caring for loved ones living with dementia

There is no charge to attend. Donations are always welcomed but never expected.

We are also pleased to support and acknowledge the important work of Gloucestershire Carers Hub during Carers Week and throughout the year.

Free parking is available on site and Jecca’s House is disabled accessible.

If you would like to check dates, ask questions or find out more, please get in touch:
📍 Jecca’s House, Back Ends, Chipping Campden GL55 6AU 📞 01386 840505

If you know someone caring for a loved one, please help spread the word. Carers deserve support too. 💛
