Video Highlights. Following on from the great VE Day Fly-In last year, Wimborne MAC held their second Warbird Fly-In Event on the 9th May to commemorate VE Day. The flight line was filled from end to end with warbirds of all sizes. From 1/5th scale through to 70 mm EDF jets. Many P47's, Mustangs P51d's Me109's, FW190 and a P40 Warhawk. Lancaster, B25 Mitchell, US Army A24 Banshee (Dauntless) plus a good number of turbine jets. Guest pilots from other clubs enjoyed the event too.

Another Super Chipmunk 1/5th scale powered by OS 33GT engine needs refurbishing and updating. My Pepsi is 10 years old and need a little attention. The full size Pepsi Sky Dancer was purchased by Nathan Hammond in 2016 and was converted to Ghost Writer. So I will do the same. Read the story...

Super Chipmunk N114V 1/5th scale needs refurbishing after 12 years. Covering delaminating and decals fading or peeling off. Also need flaps to be created. Originally powered by SC 180 FS then 10 years ago with OS 33GT engine. It did not turn out as easy as thought. Read the story.
