Tell Perth and Kinross Council your thoughts on the future of housing in Perth and Kinross.

The Local Housing Strategy (LHS) for Perth and Kinross is being updated, and they are looking for your thoughts on housing in the area through a public consultation that is open until 11 December 2026.

The LHS sets out how PKC and partners will address housing issues and demand in our area over the next five years. The PKC LHS for 2022-2027 is coming to an end, and so a new strategy is now being drafted.

The new LHS will provide the PKC vision for delivering housing across Perth and Kinross between 2028-2032, as well as the priorities for action over that period of time.

Why your views matter

Perth and Kinross Council want to make sure the new strategy reflects the views of local people and communities, and so they are asking you to share your views on the housing issues that matter to you most. Your suggestions will be used to help shape the new LHS.

To do this PKC are asking you to complete this consultation which should take no more than a few minutes.

This is an important opportunity for everyone in our local communities to have a voice in influencing the future of housing services and investment in Perth and Kinross, and PKC are very keen to hear your views.

For further information on types of affordable housing, please take a look at Types of affordable housing - Perth & Kinross Council which explains what PKC mean by affordable housing options and tenure types.

You can also view the current PKC Local Housing Strategy web page for background and information before completing this consultation.
