We noticed yesterday that the What's On poster shared through the town, in hard copy and online too, gives the wrong date for our film showing. It's definitely on Sunday 25th October as per our poster
If you come along on the date shown on the What's On poster you'll be joining the rock band Slider for a Hallowe'en event! Of course, you could come along to both!! But there's no cake on Hallowe'en........... 🎃 🧟‍♀️ 🎸 🍰

And that’s a wrap! Our cinema showings for the first half of 2026 have come to an end. Thanks to everyone who came along to support us, even if the film showing wasn’t necessarily your cup of tea!

And talking of cups of tea, a huge thank you goes out to all our volunteer home bakers who make wonderful cakes and serve them all up with a smile. You truly are what keeps Strathmore Screen going!

Thanks also go out to those volunteers who come along and help erect the screen and put the projector together, then take it all apart at the end of the night. The vertically challenged more ‘mature’ members of the Town Hall committee really appreciate you!

We’ll be back to start our new season on Sunday 27th September, watch out for what will be showing. Your support for our totally volunteer run monthly local cinema is appreciated.
