Bingo. Cake. Fundraising for Blackpool. This all seems entirely sensible.
Good luck to everyone at Sing with Pride tonight — we love seeing the different ways our choirs are getting themselves Blackpool Bound. 💖

It’s BINGO Day! And alto Stevie Savage has made a cake for a lucky winner!!

Our Bingo fundraiser is tonight in the School Room at the Diamond Centre, School Lane, Sprowston NR7 8TR. The venue is wheelchair accessible and there’s plenty of parking. The numbers 11 and 12 buses stop nearby outside the Brickmakers Pub.

Doors open at 6.30pm, eyes down at 7pm. Bingo books are £10 plus bring some extra cash for the raffle and other fun games. We have a Tuck Shop with hot and cold drinks, and crisps, chocolates and cakes, and you’re very welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks.

We’ve got some comedy entertainment in the break from Helenofnorwich - Guerrilla Artist and special guest. We are a choir so expect a few musical twists on the Bingo!

Our host is Jason Savage, soprano Shelly Telly’s brother. Jason is an award-winning fundraiser from Aylesbury who has got all the kit and is renowned for his fun bingo nights and quizzes. We will be in good hands.

We’re raising money to take Sing with Pride to the Hand In Hand LGBTQ+ Choir Festival in Blackpool in August and we appreciate all your support. We have our weekly rehearsals at the Diamond Centre and are always looking for new singers.

At the end of Bristol 2024, I stood on the Beacon stage in tears, taking in the applause from the community. After months of work behind the scenes, I could finally see what it had all made possible — and why clarity is a form of care.

Do you like bringing people together?
We’re looking for a Social Activities Coordinator to help shape the social side of Hand in Hand Blackpool 2027 — from quiz nights and discos to quieter opportunities for people to meet and connect.
It’s a volunteer role, with planning in the run-up to the festival and involvement across the full weekend.

Performer registration for Hand in Hand Festival Blackpool 2027 is now open.
Registration stays open until 31 May 2027, so there’s no need to rush. And if cost could be a barrier, financial support is available — letting us know early helps us understand what support may be needed.

Belfast. Dublin. Cork. Blackpool next.
Quire Belfast LGBT Singers, Dublin Gay Men's Chorus, Menanarama and Choral Con Fusion lgbts Choir Cork are all Blackpool bound. 💚
And for Choral Con Fusion, it’ll be their first international trip as a choir.
They chose Blackpool. We’re taking that as a compliment.
