Fair Visa Campaign UNISON North West

This morning we met with Chris Webb MP and migrant workers who have been affected by the curtailment of their Skilled Worker VISA due to the loss of sponsorship.

Migrant workers provide vital health and social care in our local care homes right across the Fylde Coast.

Chris has pledged to raise their concerns to the Home Office and to champion the Fair Visa Campaign at Parliament.

Today, the branch attended a Q&A with Paul Foster MP with migrant workers working for an employer with workplaces in both Leyland and the Fylde.

The members asked for the MPs support with the Fair VISA campaign to end the exploitation of migrant workers in the social care sector by unscrupulous employers.

The branch will also be meeting with MPs across the Fylde Coast to ask for their support.
