For the past three years, young people, families and local residents have helped shape the vision for a dedicated Layton Youth & Skills Space for our Layton Together community.
This will be much more than a youth hub!
โจ A place for young people to meet, learn and build confidence
๐ป Practical and digital skills
๐ณ Cookery, activities and volunteering
๐ค Mentoring, wellbeing support and trusted adults
๐ Links into training, apprenticeships and employment
It will also strengthen the wider building and create a unique, modern and inclusive space that can serve people of all ages โ bringing young people, families, volunteers and the wider community together.

We are ready to move into construction
We are hugely grateful to the sponsors, funders, supporters, who have already backed the project, and to those still considering our applications.
However, construction costs have increased significantly in recent months, meaning there is still a funding gap to close before work can begin.
We do not want this vision to remain on paper.
