Waterborne Weekend! 🚣‍♀️🏄‍♂️

Our juniors took part in an exciting weekend of paddleboarding and rowing, giving them the opportunity to work alongside other units while developing new waterborne skills and proficiencies. It was fantastic to see everyone stepping outside their comfort zones, building confidence, making new friends, and having plenty of fun!

A huge thank you to all of the CFAVs who gave up their time to make this weekend possible. Your support created an unforgettable experience for our cadets 👏

Joint Training Weekend! 🥾⚓

What an incredible weekend of joint training for our Marine Cadets and Sea Cadets!

On Friday, our Marine Cadets took part in a simulated ambush exercise in the field. They demonstrated reconnaissance techniques, assessed suitable locations, and put their fieldcraft training into practice by learning how to set up and react in an ambush scenario.

On Saturday, we brought together a mixed group of Sea Cadets and Marine Cadets for a day of fieldcraft training. This gave the Sea Cadets the opportunity to experience some of the exciting skills and activities that our Marine Cadets regularly take part in.

A huge well done to all of the cadets for their hard work and positive attitude, and thank you to all the volunteers and staff who made the weekend possible.
