September's Q***r Craft Club

This month Teddy will be guiding you through a landscape painting. Paint brushes at the ready for this easy going painting evening following a step by step video tutorial and techniques to create a stunning piece of art.

Thank you so much to everyone who came along to the preview of The Coastal Theatre of Western Britian last night to celebrate the work of Christine Rodger.

It was very lovely to see the space filled with people, conversation, and support for Chris' beautiful work.

If you haven’t made it along yet, you're welcome to come and see the exhibition at the drop in tomorrow, Saturday 12th September 11am–3pm. Chris will be there for a chat about her work, and we can recommend taking a gander through the sketch books. Seeing the development of the work is really interesting.

The Coastal Theatre of Western Britain:

Thursday 10th September 5.30pm - 8.30pm

Join us at Aunty Social for a preview of Christine Rodger’s new exhibition, exploring six decades of walking, sailing, and sketching along the British coastline.

Fine artist, teacher and printmaker Christine brings together new work alongside ideas, sketches and reflections from her extensive career, using acrylic, paper and found materials to create landscapes with a keen eye, curiosity and a touch of humour.

Artist conversation: 6.30pm

Christine will talk about how she captures landscape while on the move, and how those observations and sketches become contemporary artworks.

Saturday 12th September 11am - 3pm

Visit with the artist to explore the exhibition and her sketchbooks

No booking is needed for Saturday, just drop in throughout the day.
