✨ Little Stars this week was a week for using our imagination, as we read a story called 'Little One's Bedtime', which is all about a little girl who is too busy having adventures to go to sleep ✨

🎨 The children used their imagination on the craft table to make things using playdoh, and they also had the chance to dress up like the character in our story using our new story bibs, gifted by Betterstart Blackpool 🎨

🥗 As we all know imaginations need to be fed, so at the end of our session we all sat down to share a cheeseboard and fruit for lunch 🥗

✨ This week at Little Stars we prepared ourselves for Father's Day by reading a story called 'Megaboy' with 'Dastardly Dad' the super villain who turns out to be a superhero ✨

🎨 The children all made lovely cards at the craft table for their 'Super Dads', and had fun doing some extra colouring and painting too 🎨

🥗 For lunch, we all shared a cheeseboard with fruit 🥗

🧘 Claremont Park Yoga 🧘

We’re really pleased to be offering a free four-week yoga programme in Claremont Park this July!

Sessions will take place on:

📅 Wednesday 1st, 8th, 15th & 22nd July
⏰ 9am–10am
📍 On the field near Claremont Park Community Centre

*Spaces are free, but please sign up using the link below so we know you are coming.* 👉 https://bit.ly/4vIHzSJ

Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or can’t quite touch your toes, you are very welcome to join in. These sessions are relaxed, friendly and suitable for all abilities.

👶 Although aimed at adults, little ones can come along with you if needed. Children remain the responsibility of their parent/carer during the session.

We also have free yoga mats for the first 20 people who sign up and need one.

This project has come from conversations with local people about what they would like to see in Claremont. Let us know if there's something else you would like to see in our community 💚

✨ This week at Little Stars we read a story called 'Spaghetti with the Yeti' by Lee Wildish, and the children enjoyed it so much that we read it twice ✨

🎨 On the craft table, the children were armed with glue sticks and pens to create their very own monster, or just to have some fun glueing and sticking 🎨

🍝 At lunch, we enjoyed some spaghetti just like George and the Yeti in today's story, and it was such a hit that we'll definitely be adding it to our Little Stars Lunch Menu in the future 🍝

A seaside town we all adore. On the brink of being washed away. Time travel to 2050, where Blackpool is on the cusp of being consumed by climate change and the rising tides. Hear real life northern stories from the people who live in the town today as The Land Beneath Our Feet calls to both audiences and decision-makers to make a change before it’s too late.
