Kinellar Baby and Toddler Group Welcome to blackburns local baby and toddler group. We welcome all from newborn babies to pre-school children.

A Charity organised group, ran by volunteers who are passionate about creating a supportive environment for all.

Kinellar Baby & Toddler Group 🌟

Join us this Friday from 9:30am – 11:30am for a relaxed morning of play, chat, and a chance for little ones to socialise and have fun.

☕ Tea and coffee will be available – please remember to bring your own cup/mug if you can.

We would also like to be honest about the current situation facing the group. Attendance has been very low again over the last two weeks, and unfortunately we are still in need of volunteers to help keep the group running.

As things stand, if we do not have people come forward to join the committee, Kinellar Baby & Toddler Group will be forced to close at the end of June.

We are looking for volunteers to fill the following roles:

• Chair

• Secretary

• Ordinary Committee Members

You do not need any special experience, just a willingness to help support a valuable community group for local families. Even if you’re unsure what the roles involve, please speak to us and we can explain more.

If you enjoy the group and would like to see it continue for future families, please consider getting involved.

We hope to see lots of familiar and new faces on Friday. Every family attending makes a difference. 💙

📢 Kinellar Baby & Toddler Group AGM – Urgent Support Needed 📢

Our Annual General Meeting will take place on Friday 26th June at 10am during the group session.

Unfortunately, we are losing our Chairperson, Secretary, and an Ordinary Committee Member. These roles are essential for the group to continue running safely and legally.

Without volunteers stepping forward to fill these positions, Kinellar Baby & Toddler Group will sadly have no choice but to close.

This group is an important place for local babies, toddlers, parents, grandparents, and carers to meet, play, and support one another, and we would really love to keep it going for the community.

You do not need special qualifications to help — just a willingness to support the group. Current committee members can help guide anyone interested in taking on a role.

Please come along to the AGM if you can, ask questions, and consider whether you could help keep the group open for local families. ❤️

🌈 Kinellar Baby & Toddler Group 🌈

Just a little reminder that our drop-in session is on tomorrow from 9:30am–11:30am ☕🧸

We’d really love to see as many families there as possible. Unfortunately, over the last few weeks attendance has been quite low, at the moment, we haven’t been making enough to cover our basic costs of hiring the hall.

Our group has always tried to be a friendly, welcoming and affordable space for local families, and one of the few remaining groups that still offers flexible drop-in sessions. Sadly, many local toddler groups have already had to close, and if we continue running at a loss, we may eventually have no choice but to close too, which would be such a shame for the community.

If you’ve been thinking about coming along, tomorrow would be a wonderful time to support the group 💛 Every family attending really does make a difference.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our party on Friday – it was lovely to see so many of you there! We’re so pleased to say it was a great success and completely sold out 🎉

A special thank you as well to those who kindly brought along food and helped make the party extra special – it really is appreciated.

We’re now closed for the holidays, but we’ll be back in two weeks’ time and can’t wait to see you all again!

Looking ahead, after the holidays we’ll be starting to look for new committee members. A few of us will be stepping down this summer, and sadly without new people to join the committee, the group wouldn’t be able to continue running. With so many local groups closing down it would be sad to see our group close too.

If you’ve ever thought about getting involved, we’d love to hear from you 💛
