Manchester Parents Group QAVS founded in 1986 we provide Info and support for parents/carers of the LGBT+ community across the NW.

Meet monthly on the 1st Saturday @ 11am until 1pm at St Anne's Church Manchester M2 7LF We also provide talks and information for various organisations. The group is run by Parents whose children have come out as LGBT. We all give our time voluntarily and offer support and guidance to parents who are coming to terms with their childrens sexuality or gender identity. We meet monthly, on the first S

aturday of every month except for January. If you wish to meet in a discreet setting parents are willing to meet in city centre coffee bars or somewhere you feel comfortable. We offer training to colleges, social services and any other organisations asking for our guidance. We also campaign for our childrens rights and have forged ties with many organisations and groups within the LGBT community. We have received the Alan Turin Commendation at the Homo Hero awards. The Second most prestigious awards within the British LGBT community. And the Queens Award for Voluntary Services, the highest award for a voluntary group

The group is run by Parents whose children - irrespective of age - have come out as LGBT+ We all give our time voluntarily and offer support and guidance to parents who are coming to terms with their children's sexuality or gender identity. We meet monthly, on the first Saturday of every month. If you wish to meet in a discreet setting parents are willing to meet in city centre coffee bars or somewhere you feel comfortable. We also campaign for our children's rights, support the LGBT+ community and have forged ties with many LGBT+ organisations and groups We were winners of the Alan Turin Commendation at the Homo Hero awards.
