Parenting a child with ADHD can feel like saying the same thing all day and still getting it wrong. You’re not failing, and neither are they.
Four things that help at home and in the Madrassah:
1. Say it short, then say it again
2. Set the bar for the child in front of you
3. Correct softly, praise out loud
4. Stay close, especially after a hard day
The Prophet ﷺ repeated his words so they’d be understood. Patience and gentleness are part of the Sunnah, not a sign you’ve lost control.
If you’re worried about your child or speak to your GP.
Save this for the hard days, and send it to a parent who needs it 🤍
