Be Part Of It ‘Be part of it’ is way of letting people know about all the great things that are happening in Mill Hill and the surrounding areas.

To find out more about volunteering opportunities in the community in and around Mill Hill, Blackburn, and join hundreds of others in charities, schools, sports clubs, community centres and social projects please get in touch. Over the last 6 months Bentham Road Health Centre have been working extensively in the community to gather information and build relationships with many local organisations

which provide a huge range of activities from Baby Ballet to Boxing from Pilates to Prayer. In the next few weeks we plan to launch the Happy Healthy Communities website which contains contact details and information for over 200 activities which you or some of your friends or family might enjoy. In particular the Be part of it campaign is designed to encourage local residents to offer their skills and experience to the local community through volunteering. The campaign is initiated by volunteers who know first hand that doing something in the community is incredibly rewarding and a great way of making friends as well as helping others.
