Entry to the event is at no cost to you, but we have £2 wristbands that will enter you into the raffle and it will give you access to all our activities on the day 🙌

What an incredible first men’s session at The Hub @ Shadsworth tonight.
We’re proud to share that 14 men attended, creating a welcoming, supportive, and honest atmosphere from the moment the doors opened.

Tonight’s topic focused on the weight many men carry silently every single day and why safe spaces like this matter so much.
For a lot of men, life can become about constantly carrying pressure, responsibilities, stress, grief, trauma, anxiety, or personal struggles without ever truly feeling able to talk about it openly.
Over time, many become used to hiding how they really feel behind the words “I’m okay.”

One of the key messages from tonight was the idea of carrying pain like holding a sharp knife tightly in your hand.
The longer you hold onto it, the more damage it causes but after a while, the pain can start to feel normal.
Many men live like that every day, carrying silent struggles while hoping things will somehow improve on their own.
But healing can begin when you finally let go.

Overall, the men were upbeat throughout the evening and truly connected with the topic, with many feeling as though it reflected their own voice and experiences.
The openness in the room, the laughter, and the honest conversations showed just how important spaces like this are for men within the community.
That honesty, understanding, and connection is exactly what 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐚𝐝 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐰𝐞𝐬𝐭 is all about.

A big thank you to 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐮𝐛 @ 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐝𝐬𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 for continuing to provide a space where these conversations can happen.
That support on the ground makes a real difference.
