We’re in the customer vote for a Tesco Fruit & Veg grant. It’s a scheme which gives community projects like us grants of up to £1,500. Tesco customers can now vote in the Blackburn Superstore, Darwen Express and other express stores in the local area. Shop during October and November to decide how much funding we get, so please support us next time you shop at Tesco!

We will use the funding to run a Healthy Eating Club for parents with pre-school-aged children.

Another amazing job in Blackburn with our partner Kairos Housing

We're hiring: Operations Manager

Our Operations Manager is leaving us to train for ordained ministry, so we're looking for someone to take on the day-to-day running of Kairos Housing — our homes, our team, and the welcome we offer to people rebuilding their lives after seeking sanctuary.

You don't need a housing background. If you've got the values and the transferable skills, we'll train you — including a fully funded housing qualification with paid study leave.

Closes: Sunday 27 September.

Your support means so much. ❤️

A few months ago we worked with a brilliant team of filmmakers in connection with Lancaster University and The Dukes Theatre and Cinema. 🎥✨
James, Jack and their crew spent two days immersed in our world at ARC, meeting with, listening to and drinking tea with our community.☕💛

We are hugely proud of the short film that grew from this partnership, 'Bless the People who Live in this House', for how it celebrates our community and also its potential to encourage conversation.

It's screening at The Dukes in Lancaster brought people together across backgrounds, cultures and faiths, to hear stories told through film, live performance, art and with catering from Global Village Cafe.🎨🍽️🌍

Do you have ideas where and how we could share our film and performances with a wider audience?
