Stable Family Home Trust - Supporting adults with learning disabilities The Stable Family Home Trust is a Registered Charity supporting people with a learning disability to lead more independent lives in Hampshire and Dorset.

The Stable Family Home Trust provides a range of services to support people with a learning disability to lead fulfilled and active lives. SFHT offers a wide and creative range of day opportunities, these are available at 'Aspire' our main site in Bisterne near Ringwood, our satellite hub 'Evolve' in Southbourne, Dorset and our garden and artisan craft shop "Gifted" which is based in Highcliffe, D

orset. We have 9 supported living homes in Kings Park, Southbourne and Christchurch and 1 residential home in Bisterne, ensuring that development of independent living skills is possible, but also that service users are able to get involved in their local community. ⛳ Charity Golf Day at Remedy Oak - 21st July 2026

Just one month to go! Join us for a day of golf in aid of the Stable Family Home Trust, supporting people with learning disabilities in our community.

Remedy Oak sits within 256 acres of Dorset woodland, on an 18-hole, par-72 course ranked 3rd-best in the South of England. A special place to play!

Your team of 4 gets:
Bacon rolls and tea/coffee on arrival from 9am, 18 holes of championship golf, Halfway House refreshments, a gourmet BBQ, prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, plus competitions, and a charity auction.

Shotgun start at 11am. £740 per team of 4.

We are very grateful to the fantastic team at Everywhen Poole, who formed a task force to transform our outside space at ‘Gifted’ in Highcliffe recently. Our tired-looking fences and plant stands now have a new lease of life at our Garden Centre and Gift Shop! 🌱

The team pulled out all the stops despite some horrendous downpours, and the transformation was complete in time for the Highcliffe Food & Arts festival last weekend.

🌱 Gardening Volunteers Wanted 🌱
Love being outdoors? Enjoy getting your hands in the soil? We're looking for gardening volunteers to help us nurture plants for sale, tend our outdoor spaces, and create a welcoming environment for the people we support and our visitors.

What you'll be doing:
Light gardening and general maintenance, potting, planting, weeding, pruning, tidying, and helping our outdoor spaces look their best all year round.

What we offer:
A friendly, supportive team. Flexible volunteering times. Fresh air, gentle exercise, and the satisfaction of giving back.
Some gardening experience helps, but enthusiasm and a willingness to get stuck in matter just as much. Spare a few hours now and then, or volunteer more regularly; either way makes a difference.

Next Saturday, we are taking part in the Poole Dragon Boat Festival to raise money for our vital services supporting people with learning disabilities.

The work we do helps create opportunities, build confidence and ensures the people we support feel valued, included and empowered every single day in the community. Without fundraising and community support, services like these simply couldn’t continue to make such a positive difference to so many lives. ❤️

This is more than a race - it’s about coming together, pushing hard and making a real difference!
