Our member Naomi Wells too part in the Ely Cathedral Flower & Garden show at the weekend. The title was World in Bloom and Naomi depicted Ireland.

This Volunteers' Week, we want to say a huge thank you to every volunteer across NAFAS.

From our Areas, clubs, Judges, Demonstrators, Speakers, Education, the Board, Committees, and all those working behind the scenes, your dedication, expertise, and enthusiasm help make NAFAS what it is today.

Whether you give your time at Club, Area, or National level, organise events, support members, share your knowledge, or help shape the future of our organisation, your contribution matters.

We would also like to thank those who have volunteered with NAFAS in the past. Every contribution, past and present, has helped our organisation grow and flourish.

Last night we welcomed Janet Dye from Ipswich with her demonstration “Island of Flowers” Janet shared stories of the beautiful Island of Madeira, using some exotic flowers and fabulous foliage.
Permission by Janet to share one photo, the photos depict the A-Frame houses. The roofs are steeply pitched and thatched with local straw and heather. The timber and thatch were chosen because timber was abundant but stone was scarce in early times.

Visitors will always be given by a warm welcome and you could go home with a beautiful arrangement which are raffled off at the end of the evening.
