BLUE ANCHOR MUSEUM'S ANNIE, THE WORLD WAR TWO CHILD EVACUEE MANNEQUIN, has return after her travels. 👏 She was discovered missing after the recent Diesel Festival. Anne Thomas TTI and Mike Thompson Guard were asked to bring her back from Minehead to Blue Anchor as a mystery wheelchair passenger.

She is now reunited with her mother and again greets visitors to the Museum so be sure to say hello and welcome her back to Blue Anchor. 👋 You might ask if she enjoyed the trip, but she might be a wee bit vague as to where and when given perhaps what she was up to!!😂

Blue Anchor Museum is open on all days the West Somerset Railway is Running as is the Museum at Bishops Lydeard. Add to your complete visitor exsperince by stoping off at each museum and saver the history of our great railway and it's people and comunnities.❤️

ℹ️ Collett 1938 Standard Stock was a series of Great Western Railway passenger coaches built in 1938, characterized by their high-waist design and large windows. These coaches were known for their durability and were a popular choice for both main line and excursion services. The Collett 1938 Stock represents a significant chapter in the history of Great Western Railway passenger coaches. The West Somerset railway Heritage Trust is proud to have been able to restore this coach to its former glory so it may continue that history for many years to come.
