Baking, making and shaking WI Formed 2015, meeting @ St Michael’s Centre, Bishops Cleeve GL52 8LL 7.45 -10 pm, first Thurs monthly. Visitors always welcome!

Contact us any time on email - [email protected] Baking Making and Shaking WI is part of The Gloucestershire Federation of Women's Institutes and a member of the NFWI. We meet on the first Thursday of each month and visitors are very welcome. You pay £3 for each visit, you can come along three times before deciding if we are the WI for you! Hope to see you at one of our meetings, soon.

UPDATE ABOUT TONIGHT'S TALK: I'm afraid we've just heard that tonight's speaker on Fraud Awareness will be unable to attend due to the weather forecast where they live, so at tonight's meeting we'll be filling in with chat about the upcoming NFWI resolutions, and some other fun activities like a quiz, games etc (to be decided at the meeting). Please still come along if you were planning to, we'd love to see you there to welcome in a new year of BMS get-togethers 🙂

So basically, eat like your granny (using fresh foods), keep your heart pumping well with regular, moderate exercise 11 minutes a day eg walking with attitude. This in turn keeps blood pumping to the brain which needs - was it a litre of blood a minute to pass through?? - in order to keep healthy.
Along with eating unprocessed food as much as poss’ not too much alcohol and taking regular, moderate exercise such as walking with attitude for 11 minutes daily (so many other suggestions offered, thanks Colin) meeting up for friendship, chats etc and hobbies enjoyed with friends, all this plays a big part in brain health too🤗
We said we think BM&S has got that well covered.
