9th June 2026
We were back in Mainstone Village Hall this month where we set free our creative talents.
We were fortunate to have expert guidance with Sue Percy of Bishops Castle Arts Society, who demonstrated printing using interesting foliage. We were then invited to have a go and had a lovely evening exploring textures, colours and techniques of hand printing. Results of our creative talents were delightful, all unique and interestingly in their own way.
Our next meeting will be held in Mainstone Village Hall at 7.30pm on Tuesday 14th July 2026 where speaker Ric Morris will talk about The Search for the Shropshire Pine Marten.
Visitors always welcome.

Our speaker Revd. Dr John Daniels held our attention throughout his talk about Money, where it comes from, where it’s going and why it’s all about faith.
From the origins of IOU’s to how the financial system and Bank of England came about in the 17th century imported with William of Orange when he was made King of England, Ireland, and Scotland. How this style of financial system now global, controls everything, and how we are affected by it every day. What the future may look like with digital currency and how it may be controlled. A fascinating subject well explained.
This was an open meeting at which we held at the wonderful Camlad Barns venue last night 10th March 2026.
