Wednesday 19.6.26 we had a real mix of songs from football to traditional. A busy night with everyone enjoying the football cake for the start of the World Cup 2026 and a fun night was had by all. John Grant was our MC with John & Jim on sound. Our member performers were John Graham, John Grant, Douglas Clark, Robina Scott, Anne Stevenson, Kenny Matson, Alan Brand, Dennis Gough, David Byrne, Vince Docherty, Mary & Graham Gordon, Robert Bleach, Celia Somers, Geoff Foord, Stan Quirk, Jim Jack, Robert Mullen, Iain Rough, Caroline Kerr, Rona Thomson, Gina Graham. Thanks to all as well our listeners and the help from our volunteers on the night. Always appreciated.

What a fantastic and enjoyable night of songs, music and comedy on Wednesday 3.6.26. John Graham was the MC on the night and there was lots of banter before and after the floor spots. Those participating were Douglas Clark, John Grant, Bob Carss, David Byrne, Gerry Findlay, Brian Lawrence, Caroline Kerr, John Thomson, Jim Coyle, Tom Murray, Vince Docherty, Jim Jack (also PA set up & sound), John Graham (MC, PA set up & sound), Robina Scott, Iain Rough, Kenny Matson, Brian G McDaid, Dennis Gough, Margaret Reid (sorry no picture) with John Graham ensemble doing the finale song. Thanks to all. Also thanks to Gina for pictures and set up at beginning of night with assistance from Tommy Lyons; Betty, Yvonne & Jacqueline for raffle, tea and clear up and all the volunteers who helped pack away at end of night.

Up next 10th and 17th will be our popular open stage for performance spots with the last Wednesday of June being An Evening in concert with Steve Tilston at Nova Scotia Folk Club 24.6.26. This is his farewell tour and we are so honoured to have him come to the club. Only a few tickets remain before sold out. So if you haven’t got or reserved your ticket yet you’d better be quick.
