The Road to 7000 starts NOW 🥳

We’ll be updating you regularly as we work towards delivering 7000 hot meals and drinks to people experiencing homelessness. Along the way, we want to shout loud about the businesses backing us as regular donors.

For 6 years, BillyChip has built a safe currency letting those sleeping rough access essentials, free of charge. What started as a tribute to my little brother in Bristol has grown nationwide, with 500+ outlets now accepting BillyChips, including Co-op, Greggs and McDonald’s.

This year, we’ve invited hundreds of outreach services across the UK to access BillyChips for free, and now we need YOU. We’re signing up businesses to donate monthly, with 100% going straight to people in need. No marketing spend, no leaflets. Just £2 buys a hot drink, food or clothing.

What would you spend £2 on?

We took to the streets of Bristol to ask that very question and the answers were very interesting. In short… not a lot of any real meaning or value.

£2 doesn’t go far nowadays, but it can make somebodies day with a BillyChip.

We have over 450 vendors across the UK where people experiencing homelessness can exchange them for hot and cold food and drink.

We’ve been working with for years now and the work they do is incredible.

If you’re unfamiliar with them, Help Bristol’s Homeless convert repurposed shipping containers in Bedminster into self-contained micro-flats to provide secure, temporary accommodation, while residents get back on their feet.

We popped down to chat with one of the long-term residents and now volunteer, Simon, to find out first hand what their support means to those it directly impacts.
