Mission: Give .burnham a — Day 3 ✅

Well… we did it.

Andy has a BillyChip in his hand, knows who we are and knows what we do.

Mission: Complete ☑️

We need to give a HUGE thank you to Charlotte Hennessy, daughter of Jimmy Hennessy who was unlawfully killed at the Hillsborough disaster.

Hillsborough. Charlotte handed Andy the chip, explained what BillyChip is all about and even filmed the whole interaction for us. Thank you so much, Charlotte! 🙌

But our mission doesn’t end here.

We’re more committed than ever to making sure people experiencing homelessness can access food, drinks and other essentials when and where they need them - right across the UK.

Hopefully, this is just the start of BillyChip getting in front of more of the people who can help make real, lasting change happen. 💙

Mission: Give .burnham a - day two

Another full day at the conference in Liverpool. Jack saw some famous faces and went to a great talk from … but did he see Andy Burnham and give him a BillyChip?

Mission: Give .burnham a - part one

Jack headed to Liverpool for day one of the conference and had a successful day 👌🏽

He also got to chat to about busses in Bristol accepting BillyChips, which could be absolutely huge and help so many people who struggle with transport around the city.

Jack’s off to the conference in Liverpool this weekend, and he’s on a mission: to hand a BillyChip to Prime Minister .burnham 🤞🏽

Andy’s first instruction as PM was to end rough sleeping in the UK. Ambitious? Absolutely. Are we on board? 100%.

BillyChips are already accepted at 500+ outlets across the UK, with thousands of people experiencing homelessness redeeming them for hot food and drinks. Imagine what we could do working alongside government.

More outlets. More people helped.

So Andy, Jack’s coming for you. BillyChips at the ready 😉

The Road to 7,000 Update 🎉

We’re excited to welcome as a Bank of BillyChip investor! 🥳

Their monthly donation takes us from 50 to 100 BillyChips in the bank every single month. That’s 100 BillyChips distributed by our outreach partners directly to people experiencing homelessness, to exchange for food and drink whenever and wherever they’re needed. 👌🏽

The momentum is building. We’re having more conversations with businesses every day and we can’t thank you enough for the response so far.

If you’d like to know more about how your business can support its community and help people experiencing homelessness in your area, drop us a DM and we’ll arrange a chat. 💙

How a ten-year-old boy is helping homeless people access hot and cold food and drink in Monmouthshire. 💙

This is Gilly’s story. A ten-year-old with a huge heart and the determination to make things happen.

When he first heard about BillyChip, he took it to school, told his friends and teachers, and sprang straight into action. Not only did he and his friends campaign for FIVE outlets to start selling and redeeming BillyChips, but they raised over £1,000 and created 49 care packs for people experiencing homelessness locally. 🤯

We had to go and pay him and the school a visit, and explore the local area together, hearing from everyone who played a part in this absolutely wonderful story.

Thank you Gilly, thank you to everyone at Archbishop Rowan Williams Primary School, and thank you to everyone in Monmouthshire who made this happen. 🥺
