💛 What an amazing day! 💛

Last Wednesday, our staff, foster carers and children came together for a sponsored walk in aid of the Children’s Liver Ward at Leeds Hospital. 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

We are absolutely blown away to have raised way over our target! 🎉 Every step was made even more worthwhile knowing we were helping support such an important cause.

A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to donate and support us — your generosity means so much and has helped us make a real difference. 💛

And of course, well done to everyone who took part! 🌟 We couldn’t be prouder of our amazing CFT-NE family! 🧡💙

Our first event of the 6-week summer holidays was a fantastic success! ☀️🤸‍♀️

We had an amazing day packed with fun, starting with an energetic gymnastics session where everyone had the chance to build confidence, learn new skills and have lots of fun. We then enjoyed a lovely picnic together before getting creative by decorating our own T-shirts with colourful designs and unique creations.

It was wonderful to see so many smiles, laughter and friendships growing throughout the day. We can't wait for all the exciting activities we have planned over the rest of the summer holidays! 🌈💙

From challenging ourselves with exciting outdoor activities to building confidence, teamwork and friendships, every day was packed with adventure and unforgettable memories. The children showed fantastic resilience, enthusiasm and determination throughout the trip, making us all incredibly proud.

A huge thank you to the staff at Weardale Adventure Centre for providing such amazing experiences, and to our staff team for supporting the children every step of the way.

We can’t wait for Weardale 2027! 🧡💙
