Our Story
Henknowle Community Centre is based in the heart of the Henknowle Estate in Bishop Auckland.
Opened in February 1976, it’s been a vibrant community centre for over 40 years! It offers a large sports hall, kitchen, lounge and meeting rooms.
There’s a range of user groups that hold sessions on a weekly basis, everything from Taekwondo to Table Tennis, Weight Watchers to Jazz Bands!
