Our beautiful Markus is an older boy and has his sister Lilith. As you can see he’s so affectionate and loving. It’s heartbreaking seeing them be looked over because they’re around 11, yet so healthy, there isn’t a single thing wrong with them 💔

They’ve been through hell and back the past couple of years, firstly the loss of their first owner who unfortunately took her own life after suffering with her mental health 💔 the sister then stepped up and took them in and then unfortunately had to leave her home and move back in with her mum and she couldn’t take them.

Please consider these older cats if you’ve room in your heart and no other pets. They really are wonderful 🥺

🐾💜 Calling All Local Businesses 💜🐾

We are reaching out to our wonderful community to ask for a little help.

As many of you know, every penny we raise goes directly towards the cats in our care. From food and litter to vaccinations and veterinary treatment, the costs quickly add up, and we're always looking for new ways to raise funds so we can continue helping cats in need.

We're hoping to put together some fundraising raffles and would love to hear from any local businesses who may be willing to donate a voucher, gift, experience or item that we could raffle off.

This could be absolutely anything, including:

💜 Restaurant or café vouchers
💜 Pub meal vouchers
💜 Hair or beauty treatments
💜 Clothing or gift shop vouchers
💜 Butcher's vouchers
💜 Afternoon teas
💜 Experiences or activities
💜 Bottles of wine, spirits or other gifts
💜 Gift hampers
💜 Or anything else you think might help us raise funds

We know times are tough for everyone, especially small businesses, so please don't think we're expecting things for free. If needed, we would even be willing to purchase vouchers in the hope that we can raise more money through our fundraising efforts.

We would also like to give a huge shout-out and thank you to Root & Branch Community Café for already supporting us with a voucher donation. As a community-focused organisation themselves, we know they rely on the support of local people too, which makes their generosity even more appreciated. Thank you for helping us help the cats. 🥰💜

Just want to say a huge thankyou to everyone that stepped up the past couple of days and helped us by donating money towards our vet bills & for going on our wishlist. We really do go through so much food & litter and cleaning supplies that all of this is a huge huge help and we are truly so grateful! 💜💜

🐾 FOSTERS NEEDED- PLEASE SHARE🐾

As many of you know, rescue work is constantly evolving and sometimes big changes happen very quickly behind the scenes. Over the coming months, we will be carrying out a lot of important work and restructuring within the rescue to help us continue growing and helping as many cats as possible long term.

Because of this, we are now urgently looking to expand our foster team and welcome more foster homes into the rescue family. 💜

Fostering truly saves lives.

A foster home gives a cat safety, warmth, love and stability while they wait for their forever home. Some cats may need a little extra care or confidence building, while others are simply healthy cats waiting for adoption who just need somewhere safe to stay temporarily.

You do NOT need to be an expert.
Experience is amazing, but it is absolutely not essential. Even having a spare room, bathroom or quiet safe space can make a huge difference to a cat in need. We will always work with your capabilities, experience and comfort levels to match you with the right cat.

The rescue provides:
🐾 Food
🐾 Bowls, litter trays, beds & equipment
🐾 Ongoing support and guidance
🐾 Full veterinary cover
🐾 transport to the vets (if needed)

All we ask from you is a safe, loving temporary space and the willingness to care for a cat as if they were your own until they find their forever family. 🏡

Fostering is one of the most rewarding things you can do. Watching a scared cat come out of their shell, seeing kittens grow, or simply knowing you helped save a life is something truly special.

If you have ever considered fostering, now really is the time. Even one spare room can change everything for a cat in need. 💜

Our gorgeous Penelope has hit the 9 month mark in her home and here is her update for you all💜🥰

‘Penelope is doing really well. She's integrated very well with the family. After a shaky start with 1 of our other cats Mabel they have developed a really strong bond and are now inseparable. She was nervous outside at 1st but doesn't go far and her favourite spot is on the wall in our yard watching the world go by ###xx’

Our sweet boy Gerald is looking for his new home along side his sister Tortie. They’re both so desperate to start their happy ever after 🥺 They must go as a bonded pair. They are just the sweetest pair.

They’re getting older now and it’s heart breaking seeing them waiting for a proper home to love them. 🥺🥺
