Wednesdays ride from Woodhouse Close Leisure Centre, Bishop Auckland, County Durham, Northeast England,
Heading out from the Leisure towards Tindale Crescent then along past the retail park crossing the A68 and onto Oakley Garage West Auckland. Taking the Barnard Castle road to Evenwood Gate turning left at the end of the village around to Hilton. Turning off to the left taking the country lane through Hilton onto Summerhouses, at the crossroads going straight over on the road to Darlington. Taking the left turn up past Walworth Castle, Walworth Gate and the Blacksmiths pub crossing the A68 to Heighington Village. Through the village up into School Aycliffe down to the Oakleaf Leisure Centre onto Aycliffe station then along the track to Shildon. Through the park and down to Tindale Crescent and Bishop Auckland. Well done a rather fast ride today without a coffee stop due to the weather conditions, rain wind and more rain but an enjoyable ride all the same.

No change in the weather conditions still raining in Bishop Auckland, Newton Aycliffe, Darlington and Durham. Therfore today's ride from Woodhouse Close Leisure Centre will be cancelled. Hopefully we will see you on Wednesday's ride weather permitting.

Out to Tindale Crescent upto Shildon around the bypass through Locomotion onto the track to Aycliffe station. Out to the left and following the cyclepaths around past Greenfields Academy and Breyley Park school then taking the underpass into Bluebell wood. Following the track around to Burn Lane crossing over and keeping on the track down to the roundabout beside the colf course. Heading back towards Woodham then left at the roundabout and then down to the burn. Crossing the bridge up past Woodham Academy School to Central Avenue then along the pathway to Moore Lane and the cyclepath past the Gretna pub. Crossing at the traffic lights through Aycliffe Village past 3Ms and left at the roundabout and following the road around past Lidle and PWS to the cyclepath past Husqvarna. On to the Oakleaf Leisure Centre for a coffee stop. Back down to Aycliffe station along the track to Shildon through the park and down to Tindale Crescent and Bishop Auckland. Well done everyone a great ride in excellent company.

Monday's ride from Woodhouse Close Leisure Centre, Bishop Auckland, County Durham, Northeast England,
Out from the Leisure Centre to Tindale Crescent along the pathway past the retail centre past Broom Mill Farm to the A68 roundabout. Turning right past the factories into West Auckland right at the roundabout then straight over at the next one and turning left just before the Spa shop to the Old railway track. Following the track to Spring gardens crossing the A68 keeping on the track to Ramshaw turning left over the bridge up through Evenwood to Evenwood Gate. Turn right at the junction then left at the end of the village and following the road around to Hilton then down to Ingleton. Through Ingleton turning right at the end of the village following the road down to the sign for Headlem Hall turning left and following the road around past the Mole shop then left at the junction into Piercebridge. Through the village up the hill then left through Manfield and onto Cleasby. At the bottom of the bank as you enter Cleasby there is a right turning taking this road NCN615 to the junction turn right then left following the NCN615 to Croft. Over the bridge into Hurworth following the road around to the Spa turning left towards Darlington and passing the Rugby stadium into the town following the cyclepaths route to the industrial estate past Cummings and into Yarm Road Industrial Estate for a coffee stop at Taylors cafe. Out from the Cafe turning right and following the cyclepaths around to Macmillen Road past the garages to Houghton Road. Crossing over at the traffic lights along the pathway following the river over the bridge past the Nursing home through the housing estate to the Springfield pub. Crossing over at the traffic lights and taking the track right alongside the Springfield park then left at the end of the park along the cyclepath then left then right down to the White Horse pub. Turning right and following the cyclepaths through Cotham Mundeville down over the A1M into Aycliffe Industrial Estate. Around the industrial estate past Husqvarna to Aycliffe station along the track past Locomotion and Shildon station left over the bridge straight on past the cottages around to the park. Through the park following the road around to the roundabout right then left to Tindale Crescent and back to Bishop Auckland. Well done everyone another great ride despite a few droplets of rain.

Wednesdays ride from Woodhouse Close Leisure Centre, Bishop Auckland, County Durham, Northeast England,
A cold morning start as we headed through the traffic lights to the bypass left to Brack's farm and onto the Auckland Way to Spennymoor. Past the school then through the park and around the housing estate into Tudhoe Village, along the lane into Croxdale and down to the Honest Lawyer. Climbing up to the C**k of the Noth roundabout on the cyclepath and onto the Duke of Wellington pub. Down through Stonebridge up to Langley Moore and into Medowfield industrial estate for a coffee stop at Cafe 22. Out and right following the road around to Brownly then onto the NCN70 Brandon to Bishop track back through Brancepeth and Willington. Charge to NCN715 at Hunwick up to the eleven arches bridge through the town back to the Leisure Centre. Well done everyone another great ride in excellent company despite the rain shower on our way home.
