Wowzers after 11 hours at work today I absolutely loved tonight’s water fight as did all the kids!!

Due to the scorching weather forecast, our usual Youth Club session is taking a splash-tastic turn! 🌊🔫

🚫 Youth Club will be CLOSED tonight 🚫

Instead, join us tomorrow for an epic WATER FIGHT EXTRAVAGANZA! 🎉💦

🕔 5:45pm – 6:45pm

To ensure everyone has a safe and fantastic time, please make sure your child arrives:

👕 In swimwear with a T-shirt worn over the top (required for safeguarding reasons)
👟 Wearing suitable footwear (trainers or Crocs in "sports mode" only – no flip-flops or sliders)
🧴 With suncream already applied before arrival
🧺 Bring a towel

⚠️ IMPORTANT:
❌ Any child dressed inappropriately will not be admitted to the session.
❌ No exceptions will be made.

ATTENTION PARENTS OF HIGH SCHOOL CHILDREN ATTENDING YOUTH CLUB TONIGHT

If your high schooler was at the youth club tonight please have a word with them and ask what they’ve been doing!

Whilst I was attending to another matter they have shown a complete and utter lack of respect for the building, the volunteers and equipment!

Unfortunately for the safety of others they are no longer welcome, I simply cannot and should not have to stand in the middle of them in order for them to behave!

I don’t even need to say anything to them and they know the score but have been rude and disrespectful to my VOLUNTEERS, yes the ones offering up their free time to make this happen!

Should any parents of those there tonight wish to have a chat about this please get in touch!

Strictly year 1 to year 6 moving forwards.

I’m so sorry that they have spoiled it for everyone else!

I’ll do another post shortly about the fun and excitement the others ones have had shortly as they don’t deserve to get caught up in this rant!

EXTREME DISAPPOINTMENT

The missing phone has still not been located, and what’s more concerning is that it has gone with one of service users who has subsequently traveled down Raikes Lane.

The phone was promptly switched off and can no longer be located.

The phones owner is devastated at the loss of sentimental family photos, not even the phone itself.

This person also now is fearful of attending and doesn’t want to return next week! Imagine making someone feel that way!

Never in all the years we have been doing this has anything like this ever happened before.

Please do the right thing and hand it in at the centre ANONYMOUSLY if needed to Carol or Maryna who will get it back to us.

EVERYONE ELSE please be super vigilant!

I’m hugely disappointed, I really thought we were in this together as a community to help each other!

If you live on this street and have been to FOODSHARE this morning please check your shopping bags and get in touch if you have the phone.

This has been reported as missing to the Police as we have the house number it was shown as last location.
