Arki
–
Princely Hill State of Baghal from Dhar state in Central India. The state was established in the 11th century, and Rana Sabha Chand selected Arki as the location for the capital in 1643.
It is found in the state of Himachal Pradesh, home to the Shivalik hills that serve as the foothills for the Himalayan mountain ranges. The meaning of the name Arki is “a sunny location.” It is surrounded on all sides by a breathtakingly beautiful panorama of huge mountain ranges and deep valleys.
The second picture is of Arki fort, which was constructed by Rana Prithvi Singh, has been converted into a historic hotel in recent years. It has a past littered with acts of violence and has been a witness to conflicts in which the Gurkhas fought with extraordinary valour and courage.
