Some of our members had the chance to attend a day at Salts Healthcare and have a look around the factory at how stomas products are made and a bit of history around the products and the company and then headed over to the Salts Healthcare and had the chance to understand the skin institute side of how they choose to adapt there products for our skin to not cause irritations etc a couple of people got the chance to test the skin machine on there's elf's to see how hydrated there skin is as well as other information and was provided with lunch too. I hope all who attended enjoyed this chance to go behind the scenes of a product factory

Birmingham IA had the pleasure of attending this event and had the chance to see some amazing strong children who showed that a disability doe not stop you..and they had designned there own clothes and put on a inclusive fashion show and I am honour to have witnessed this event and was given a chance to get the awareness of IA organisation out there to wider audience and chatted to some lovely people who shared there knowledge or experiences wether it was theirselves or someone they know who has had a stoma or internal pouch.

Patients take to the stage in this adaptive fashion show sponsored by CPC Civils and held in collaboration with Inclusive Fashion.

For any of our members who have pouchies a chance to speak and interact with others members who have a internal pouch join the zoom call on Saturday 28th May 2026

Do you have an internal pouch? Are you considering internal pouch surgery? Or perhaps you are supporting someone who is?

Our next PouchPals online social is on Thursday, 28th May at 7.30pm, and we would love you to join us.

This month's theme is Have Pouch, Will Travel. Internal pouch committee member Keiryn Moffitt spent several months travelling the world in 2025 with his internal pouch, and he will be sharing his tips and experiences at this session. It is a brilliant opportunity to connect with others, ask questions and share your own travel stories too.

Our online meetings are free, open to everyone, and you do not need to be an IA member to attend. You also do not need a Zoom account or to have Zoom installed on your device. All you need is an internet-connected device and somewhere quiet to join from.

Please note that advance registration is required. Once you have registered, you will receive a link to join the meeting by return.

To register, visit: pouch.iasupport.org/online-meetings

We look forward to seeing you there.
