Anthony Road Children’s Centre in Saltley contains a fifty seven place nursery, large drop-in area, health room, breastfeeding room,
1:1 advice spaces, large training room, multipurpose room, sensory room, toy library and is office for the Children’s Centre team. Sunshine End facility in Ward End has training room, health room, 1:1 advice room, drop-in area and home to KoolKidz wraparound service. Anthony Road Children’s Centre provides:

One of the main strengths of the services Anthony Road Children’s Centre offers is its holistic approach offering a wide range of services in the heart of the community. This gives us the opportunity to meet a wide range of needs and help local families easily access help and support. We aim to help children within our catchment area to have the very best start in life through supporting their education, health and delivering family support activities. We are fortunate to have the support of our many partners to achieve this aim, and the valuable contributions of parents and carers. An Advisory board oversees the programme including parent’s representatives from across the three distinct areas of Saltley Ward End and Bordesley Green. There are also representatives from Spurgeon’s Child Care, Education, Child Development, Job Centre Plus, Voluntary organisations and representatives from our local schools.
