UNISON leads health unions in calling for action on pay.

The Government needs to keep its promises to health workers and get round the table with meaningful funding to sort out NHS pay.

Also confirmed that UNISON with join 13 other unions in boycotting the Pay Review Body process this year - we cannot rely on the PRB and need negotiations to resolve our pay.

Today the Branch Committee met for an away day.

We discussed lots of plans to develop the branch and support members over the coming year including:
- organising around equalities
- supporting members to get the right band for the job - including in the Band 5 nursing review
- improving the representation for member with a casework system
