Our potato bed is looking healthy and full of growth! 🌱

It’s fantastic to see the allotment flourishing as the growing season progresses. From planting to nurturing and watching everything develop, every stage of the journey is rewarding.

We’re excited to see what’s happening beneath the soil and look forward to harvesting our potatoes in the coming months.

The courgettes are growing beautifully, the beetroot is flourishing, and the carrots are coming along nicely. It’s fantastic to see the raised beds full of healthy produce and the hard work invested in the allotment paying off.

Every visit brings new growth, new learning opportunities, and another reminder of what can be achieved when a community comes together to nurture something special.

It’s amazing to see how something so small can grow into something so beautiful.

This began as a single seed planted by a member of our community. Through time, care, and dedication, it has flourished into a thriving part of our allotment, reminding us that growth happens when people are given the opportunity, support, and space to thrive.

Our allotment is more than a place to grow food; it’s a place where connections are made, confidence is built, skills are developed, and wellbeing is nurtured. Every seed planted tells a story of patience, hope, and possibility.

We are proud to watch both our garden and our community continue to grow together.

Today’s adults and children’s session at the allotment was full of learning, teamwork, and fun.

We explored the importance of healthy eating and learned all about cress, including how it grows and the benefits of eating it. Adults and children worked together to answer questions about cress before planting their own cress seeds to care for and watch grow.

After planting, everyone enjoyed taking part in sports activities and helped water the vegetables growing at the allotment.

Our sessions are open to everyone, and SEND children are always welcome. We are proud to create an inclusive and supportive space where families can learn, grow, and enjoy activities together.💛
