Do you want to support Kings Heath Community Kitchen? We are looking for donations to continue the work we do....

Every single week, we see just how many people in our community are struggling with food poverty, homelessness, loneliness, and isolation. What started as a simple community kitchen has become a vital lifeline for so many people across Kings Heath and the wider Birmingham area.

But we can only continue this work with your support.

Your donations help us provide: 🍽️ Hot meals for people who may otherwise go hungry
πŸ‘• Clothing for those facing hardship
🧼 Hygiene & wash kits for rough sleepers and vulnerable people
β˜• Warm drinks and a safe welcoming space
πŸ’ˆ Free haircuts to help restore confidence and dignity
πŸ›’ Emergency food parcels for families and individuals in crisis

Every Β£1 genuinely makes a difference.
Whether it’s a one-off donation, regular support, or even sharing this post β€” you are helping us continue supporting people who need it most. 🧑

If you would like to donate or become a community partner, please get in touch directly or click the link https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/kingsheath-communitykitchen?utm_medium=FA&utm_source=CL

Together, we are building something special for our community.

🧑 Our banner is finally up!

So if you’re ever unsure where to find us when Kings Heath Community Kitchen is open β€” just look out for the banner. 🧑

What started as an idea has become a growing community of people coming together to provide food, support, and kindness to those who need it most.

None of this would be possible without our incredible volunteers, supporters, and community partners and Education Access UK who continue to stand beside us every step of the way.

If you’re a local business in Kings Heath and would like to become a Community Partner, sponsor our work, donate supplies, or find out how you can support the project, we would love to hear from you.

Thank you all for helping make this happen, together, we can continue making a real difference across our community. 🧑

At Kings Heath Community Kitchen, we know that mental health and community go hand in hand.
Sometimes the biggest difference in someone’s life is not just a hot meal β€” it’s being welcomed, listened to, and reminded that they are not alone.

Every week we meet people facing isolation, anxiety, homelessness, financial hardship, and personal struggles that often go unseen. That’s why creating a safe, warm, judgement-free space is at the heart of everything we do.
Whether it’s sharing food together, offering practical support, giving out clothing and hygiene kits, or simply having a conversation over a cup of tea β€” community matters. Kindness matters.

Human connection matters.

Mental health affects us all, and no one should feel ashamed to ask for help or support.

This Mental Health Awareness Week, let’s continue checking in on each other, supporting one another, and building stronger communities where everyone feels valued and welcome.

🧑You are never alone.

A happy new year! Our first Sunday back of 2026 and despite the snow it was very successful!
Thai green curry served to all our guests πŸ› bags upon bags of clothes given out for free at our clothing bank!
We also had to celebrate a special birthday! happy birthday to Chris who always puts 100 percent into all he does at the community kitchen, we couldn’t do it without you, your kind heart and all the heavy lifting you do!
We enjoyed some chocolate cake!
Random song choice but thanks to stranger things purple rain is trending on tik tok! So it was appropriate for this weeks choice!!
Thank you to all our volunteers and all of our guests we love having you, we will see you again in 2 weeks! ❀️🫢🏼
