What an absolutely fantastic evening at City of Lichfield Circle last night! It was their annual Sports Night which is one of the highlights of the Catenian year in Province 6. It was great to see such a strong turnout, with members enjoying a fun-filled night of friendly competition, laughter, and fellowship. Events like these highlight the camaraderie and spirit that make our Association so special. Thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the evening such a success but in particular to Lichfield Catenians and Cockell for organising the event. The winners were one of the home teams from Lichfield and the best dressed sportsmen were Pat Moore of Walsall-Streetly and Liam Tomlinson of Sutton Coldfield. There were 2 VG’s there so hopefully they enjoyed the evening and we will see them again. We’re already looking forward to next year!

City of Coventry Circle recruit another new member. A very enjoyable evening last night at Hearsall Golf Club where returning member Rob Carr was re-enrolled into the Circle. Rob was welcomed by Circle President John Towner and Membership Officer Michael Sandy. At the meeting retired head teacher Pat Daly was the latest visiting gentlemen and the Circle hope to enrol Pat at the July meeting.

Looking for something a bit different to do on a weekend?
How about joining Mike Owen of Wolverhampton Circle on a β€˜Nostalgic Summer Fun Runβ€˜?
Everyone is welcome to join in with the Wolverhampton & South Staffs Car Club’s β€˜SUMMER FUN RUN’ tour on the 5th July, starting from Albrighton and finishing in our spiritual home at The Pigot Arms in Pattingham. We expect a number of classic cars and rally cars, but your everyday shopping car will be equally welcome. The route is all tarmac, so non damaging (pot holes excluded).
Navigation by road book with Tulip diagrams and Rally Tripmeter App, no maps required.
Approx. 120 miles of fabulous scenery, in some cases re-living the golden years of road rallying in the dark ages. Come and see what you were missing, driving flat out at two o’clock in the morning! Breakfast bap, coffee and cake, lunch and a carvery Sunday Dinner and Desert are all included in the entry fee, as is a β€˜Monte Carlo’ style rally plate.

Super evening with Stourbridge Circle last night at Hagley Golf Club (9th June), where the Circle hosted the annual At Home to Province meeting which is held at a different Circle venue each year.
All Circles are encouraged to support an informal get together and there were about 70 in attendance.
Huge thanks to everyone at Stourbridge Circle for welcoming everyone and making it such an enjoyable evening.

The summer edition of our Province magazine Newslink should be dropping through your letterboxes. It’s another great edition with news from all around the Circles. It also contains the Newslink Calendar insert so you have all the details to hand of Circle meetings with contact info to book your visit. Thanks to all the contributors once again for making it an excellent read, but also the editorial team led by Andrew for all their hard work putting this latest edition together. Please do make use of the magazine to pass on to any prospective members as it gives a great flavour of the wider Association.
