Meet 2026 scholar Aashish Dubay. ✈️

At just 16, Aashish has already founded Career Crowd, helping 100+ students discover aviation opportunities.

His own passion began with a Cessna 152 flight at 14.

This year, his scholarship took him to Midland Gliding Club at Long Mynd to continue that journey in the skies.

2026 has been a very special first year for Helping Dreams Take Flight.

This year we awarded seven scholarships — four powered flying and three gliding — giving seven people the opportunity to take another step towards their aviation dreams.

Over the coming weeks, we'll introduce you to our scholars and share their journeys.

This is why our charity exists. ❤️✈️

A huge thank you to Pooleys Flight Equipment Ltd for their incredible support of our 2026 scholars. ✈️💙

Thanks to their generosity, every Helping Dreams Take Flight scholar has received a Pooleys starter pack to help them begin their aviation journey with the right equipment and resources.

For our powered flying scholars, Pooleys have also kindly provided access to the Pooleys Aviation Academy, giving them an invaluable platform to build their aviation knowledge alongside their practical flight training.

Support like this makes a real difference. It not only helps reduce the barriers to entering aviation but also gives our scholars the confidence and tools they need to succeed from day one.

From all of us at Helping Dreams Take Flight, and on behalf of every one of our scholars, thank you to everyone at Pooleys Flight Equipment for believing in the next generation of aviators.

Together, we're helping dreams take flight. ❤️✈️
