Everyone has a view on transport, whether you drive, walk or use public transportation to get to where you need to be.

The disabled community encounter more barriers when traveling, including:

Uneven pathways which affect the function of mobility aids

Disabled parking spaces not being available when needed to allow more space to get in and out the car to get to where we need to be stress free

Public transport being unreliable and inaccessible which creates stress and anxiety for lots of disabled people.

In this podcast NDF members discuss barriers to transport, and improvements that need to be made in Northfield, and surrounding areas.

Comment below and let us know your thoughts- we’d love to include them in the next one 😊

Welcome to our first podcast.

In this episode Sarah, Jazz and Owen introduce what the podcast is about and what’s good about living in Northfield.

Ruth has also signed the full transcript in BSL to ensure it’s accessible.

We have a long way to go to ensuring this is fully accessible, so if anyone has any suggestions on how this can be made more accessible, please let us know.
