Omg can't belive it
We were nomated for BCC Radio West Midlands. Radio WM. Making a difference award, by two specail kadys ###x We had lovely after yesterday with Ed James. What aman. BBC played the interview today . Made me cry again .
We so so proud out of hundreds and hundreds, Ed told us to though the final. We are so soso proud . 10 years this year . We gave our life's up. So we can share other's life hopping to make a difference. ### the evening is it September. We going the honner of Tracey, Cassandra, Curtis mom and my wife . For all people who are fighting the battle for all familys affected. To people we knowen and lost . To every body . To our specail super hero. On Wednesday 17 June 2026, I attended and presented my self‑care aide‑mémoire and accompanying PowerPoint, Living with Lymphoedema: A Lived Experience, to the Coventry and Warwickshire Lymphoedema Networking Group. This is a group of healthcare professionals who work as lymphoedema and tissue viability specialists. The meeting is held four times a year and organised by Haddenham Healthcare and Steve Donnelly.

Can you help us find the relatives of the first registered Children’s Nurse, Evelyn Margaret Hughes? 👩‍⚕️

Evelyn trained here in Birmingham at our Children’s Hospital from 1909 to 1912. She was the first children’s nurse to be admitted to the supplementary register.

We would love to get in touch with her relatives ahead of the first National Children’s Nurses’ Day on 30 June - please help us by spreading the word ❤️
