The Late Pope Francis felt it very important to reach out to all different cultures and communities to encourage communication and collaboration. With this in mind, BBC News interviewed Professor Bhai Sahib Mohinder Singh, who was in attendance at the Pope's funeral.
Bhai Sahib Ji was the first Sikh in history to receive the Pontifical Order of Knighthood of St Gregory the Great, by Pope Benedict XVI. He is the Chairman of the Sikh charity, Guru Nanak Nishkam Sewak Jatha, which operates in cities in the UK, India and Kenya.
