Some new additions to the Matts Mission Children's Charity - Making Smiles Glow Sanctuary of Smiles Hub Matt's Mission Children's Charity

We now have a tool station added to the imagination fun zone and a Henry Hoover as the children love to help clean up.

The Pampering zone has some added extras such as slippers and the nail section has been topped up. Extra crafts such as bracelet making, added to the crafts table.

We also have some customised Brollies, Clock, and Table Runner which are also available to purchase.

Throne Chair needed for Matts Mission Children's Charity - Making Smiles Glow Sunday 13th September at Manor Hotel Meriden.

We are looking for a company to sponsor the Throne and help to make the Hair Donations Awards Ball event even more magical.

This is our annual event in which 31 children (Mini Missioners) will be donating 10+ inches of hair to make wigs for children fighting Cancer.

The children will sit in the chair when they receive their Awards and have a photo taken. Four children going through cancer will also be attending as special guests. The few companies we have had support the past 13 years, are not able to in September. We will advertise the company for supporting.

Is anyone near B32 2DL and can support Matts Mission Children's Charity - Making Smiles Glow by purchasing some cakes, around 200 left after they were made for an event today, if anyone is willing to take a bulk load to save them going to waste then we would be so grateful 💛 Please Maybe someone owns a business where it is busy and they can be sold there? If anyone is stuck for something to do today then please go and show your support at this event in support of Matts Mission Children's Charity - Making Smiles Glow and Amelia who is one of 31 children that will be donating her hair in September.

Amelia has been very poorly herself and is one of the charity beneficiaries. Mel Wolf has worked so hard and this is her first time organising an event. Lets all come together and support. 💛 Lots on for the children.

A massive thank you to everyone that has and continues to purchase from Matts Mission Children's Charity - Making Smiles Glow Amazon wish list for our Sanctuary of Smiles Hub Matt's Mission Children's Charity so that all of the children using the services benefit.

We have added some new items that the children have asked for, if anyone is able and wanting to support with the wish list then we would be so grateful. Funds we raise are going on wish requests that we get in, separately from the hub.

Many of the children coming in have already loved making crafts and painting and Pampering and playing with all the toys.

We support children with illnesses such as cancer and disabilities and this really does put a glowing smile onto their faces when they come in.

As well as running the Sanctuary of Smiles Hub Matt's Mission Children's Charity Matts Mission Children's Charity - Making Smiles Glow are still busy granting wishes that come in to us. Theme parks, Theatre, Gifts.

Sara is fighting Cancer and her father filled out the application for a wish and requested Harry Potter World which is Sara's favourite thing and something she has been wanting to do for a long time but she's been to poorly to go and still currently is. Vouchers were given for Sara and the family to go when she is able to.

Dad sent this video of the reaction of Sara and siblings, this sums up just how much of a difference the charity makes and just how important funds are.

11 children into the Matts Mission Children's Charity - Making Smiles Glow Sanctuary of Smiles Hub Matt's Mission Children's Charity today. Marnie came over from having cancer treatment at the hospital.

The children made rice crispy chocolate cakes in the chef aprons and melted chocolate and made chocolate flowers and frogs.

They enjoyed doing Glitter character hand prints and play doh and making pens in the crafts area as well as Pampering, Gaming, Sand area, Music Corner, Kids Gym, the Sensory room, reading in the book corner, building lego, playing with the toy kitchen and toys, the arcade and the teens chilled in the Teens area and made tik tok videos and played games.

Another lovely and busy day, the children literally come from the hospital feeling tired and they soon have a glowing smile and energy and none of them ever want to leave.

We also had Winnie in yesterday who came from having treatment and is also going through cancer, full of energy playing with her siblings. It's so lovely to get amazing feedback from the parents and see the difference being made.

Cleaning being done and setting up for another busy and fun day on Friday as we have a SEND charity coming in with 15 children. The sensory room is ready and the sensory table for the children to feel all the different textures and see the different lights.
