***In light of todays weather, we will be open 11-2.30pm today***
We are closing just an hour earlier than usual and meals will still be available for all children.
I would like to give a HUGE kudos (or 'AURA' as the kids say) and thank you to our AMAZING team who have so far worked outside, preparing the playground, delivering fantastic play and clearing up through the FIVE heatwaves we have seen so far this year.
Yesterday we dug out every gazebo and shade sail we own to create as much shade as possible (this alone took about an hour!)
We put a ton of water play out and asked everyone to keep their shoes on (we have lots of folk loving the sand and freedom but the ground and equipment can be hot)
Today will be the same - the sprinkler will be on, the shades will be up, the buckets, trays and every water containing item we can find will be full.
-For those wondering about the Hose/Sprinkler in a heatwave, our judgment is that one Sprinkler for 200+ people is far more efficient and effective than everyone putting one on at home (and not everyone can!) 😉
So bring a towel and a change of clothes if you're coming and don't leave it too late!
