Yesterday, the Services For Education team was delighted to attend the BASBM Conference at Edgbaston Cricket Ground, enjoying a fantastic day of networking, collaboration and meaningful conversations with school leaders and business professionals from across the sector.

One of the standout moments of the day was the excellent performance by the Star King Solomon Academy Choir, whose talent and enthusiasm helped make the event such a memorable occasion.

We were also proud to see our colleague Richard Mabbott deliver an insightful presentation on "Exploring Options for Music Provision and Funding", sharing practical ideas and thought-provoking discussion around the opportunities and challenges facing music education in schools.

Our Senior Business Development Manager, Steve Thomas, was also in attendance and enjoyed speaking with delegates throughout the day about the support Services For Education provides to schools, including music services, safeguarding training, safeguarding audits and a range of other education services.

It was fantastic to welcome people along to the first Birmingham Inclusive Choir session of the year last weekend 🎶

We saw some familiar faces as well as new members, and the energy was high as everyone had fun making music with a range of instruments, as well as vocally! ❤️

Birmingham Inclusive Choir sessions take place every month, bringing young people with disabilities together to create music and have fun.

Tomorrow is , where charities across the UK join forces to encourage our donors to and help raise even more money for their chosen good cause ✔️

If you when you make a donation, it grows by 25% thanks to a Gift Aid contribution we claim through HMRC, at no extra cost to you.

Last year, we raised over £6,000 through Gift Aid donations, which is a great amount, but we also know we missed out on some where we can’t claim Gift Aid as the donor hadn’t ticked the box.
