🚶♂️ THE BOYS WALK & TALK – AUGUST COMMUNITY FUNDRAISER 🚶♂️
We’re pleased to announce that for our August Walk & Talk, The Boys will be teaming up with Keeping Up With Sheldon to help raise funds for community bleed kit installations in Sheldon.
As many of you know, The Boys Walk & Talk takes place on the first Sunday of every month and will continue as normal. This August, we’ll simply be adding an extra purpose to our regular monthly walk.
This initiative was brought to us by Sam at Keeping Up With Sheldon, and we’re proud to support it through one of our regular Walk & Talks.
The Boys isn’t a fundraising group and we don’t normally step into that space. However, when Sam approached us with the idea, we felt it was too important not to get behind. If there’s a chance that something like this could help save a life in our community one day, we’d be doing ourselves a disservice not to support it.

Our aim is to help fund two publicly accessible bleed kit installations in Sheldon. While the bleed kits themselves are only part of the cost, secure outdoor cabinets and installation are what make them available to the community when they’re needed most.
A GoFundMe page is currently being set up and will be shared shortly. For now, we’re simply getting the word out, raising awareness and giving people plenty of notice.
If you’re a local business and would like to support the project, please contact Rob, Mel or Sam. Once the GoFundMe page is live, you’ll also be able to donate directly.
And lads, if you’ve never joined us on a Boys walk before, this is a great one to come along to. We’ve already got a number of people attending who haven’t been before but want to show their support for the project and the community.
Please give the post a share and help us spread the word.
