A free, family friendly event 10:30am to 12. Celebrating nature in Brookvale Park.

All ages welcome. No booking required. Meet at Growth Path offices in the park near Park Rd.

Friends of Brookvale Park will be Litter Picking around the lake on Sunday 1st February 2026. Volunteers are absolutely welcome. They will be concentrating their efforts along the edge of the woodland area near the Greek Centre.
We'd love to see all Litter Picking Hero's there. All equipment supplied.

Look who I bumped into on site at the incredible Moda and Caddick Construction Limited event last week. Love it when I see Growth Path alumni out on site.
The enthusiasm to build and regenerate areas of our city with a deep commitment to upskilling and employing local young people, is music to my ears. Fantastic to work in partnership with Moda and Caddick to make this happen.

A huge thank you to Martin Price and MPB Structures for giving two of our young people, Bailey and Sacha the opportunity to be interviewed and secure work experience placements that could lead to permanent positions, working on the HS2 site at Curzon Street in Birmingham.

Such opportunities can positively change the lives of young people and we are very grateful to MPB for this partnership. We wish Bailey and Sacha the best of luck.

Great to hear, Minister of State for Skills, Baroness Jacqui Smith, talk about the number of young people neither earning or learning as a "national emergency". I've been working in this field for many years and welcome the government putting funding into a range of skills and training opportunities, particularly work experience for 16 - 18 year olds who are not on benefits.
